Licensed Psychologist

 

GDIT is currently searching for a Licensed Psychologist to join our team located in Richland, WA. This position is responsible for providing Behavioral Health Services (BHS) to workers under the Occupational Medical Services Contract at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform psychological evaluations and interpret psychological tests (MMPI-2-RF, PAI, various cognitive tests)
  • Determine fitness for duty and return to work readiness
  • Conduct psychotherapy and provide EAP counseling services
  • Provide consultation to employers, managers, and medical providers
  • Provide Substance Abuse Program (SAP) monitoring services
  • Provide educational presentations to work groups
  • Evaluate customer feedback on quality of services to identify areas for improvement
  • Participates in quality assurance and improvement activities, regulatory compliance, and accreditation maintenance/compliance activities
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships with Hanford customers, stakeholders, and employees; interface with the community, such as medical/psychological/counseling community providers and various health programs

 

Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology that includes a one year clinical internship approved by the APA or an equivalent program  
  • Minimum 3 years postdoctoral clinical experience with a major emphasis in psychological assessment
  • Valid, unrestricted license to practice clinical psychology in State of Washington (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to obtain DOE access authorization/clearance
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations affecting essential functions (i.e. ADA, EEO, Privacy Act, HIPPAA, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers
  • Experience in an occupational health services organization preferred
