Now Hiring for Staff Psychologist
Northwest Return to Work is a CARF accredited multi-disciplinary outpatient physical rehabilitation clinic. We specialize in occupational injuries with specialty programs in Behavioral Pain Management and Brain Injury Rehabilitation. We currently have an opening for a 1.0 FTE staff Psychologist working primarily with our Pain Management Program.
The staff psychologist integrates with our team providing assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy for injured workers who are trying to build paths back to meaningful work. Our team includes allopathic and naturopathic occupational health physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, vocational counseling, medical and therapy assistants, team coordinator, and a neuropsychologist.
Northwest Return to Work is conveniently located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, just north of Seattle and minutes from picturesque Edmonds, Washington. Great food, ferry rides, mountain views, hiking trails, sought after scuba diving sites, engaging family activities, cultural centers, arts, and boutique shopping experiences await the adventurous.
We are looking for a psychologist who is open to new approaches, working as part of a team, helping injured workers find or return to meaningful activities. We want our staff psychologist to not just have skill sets in evidence-based psychological approaches, such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, but to enjoy using these therapeutic approaches as they instill hope, offering skills, and transforming lives.
-PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
-Washington Licensed Psychologist or license-eligible (post EPPP)
-Experience utilizing Motivational Interviewing
-Experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-Experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-Training/career focus in health or rehabilitation psychology
-Training/career focus in pain management or rehabilitation psychology
- Prior experience in a CARF accredited intensive pain management program
-Experience with the injured worker population
-Experience with ethnically diverse populations and therapy conducted with interpretation
